Grab the Flag - At first, I didn't understand, was really confused. But that made the twist even more amusing. I thought that was clever, and though I couldn't beat the last part of the game, I had fun! Did recommend to two other people. They both couldn't defeat the last level and gave up after a couple of tries. We did appreciate though, the option to restart that battle instead of the entire game. That was a nice touch.
Strange World - I thought pixel art was pretty cool. Some mechanisms were definitely pretty interesting, but I wish there was more of a twist. I wanted something a little more than Mario, but it was probably my second favorite for the game jam after Grab the Flag. I could tell much effort was put into the game, it's just the entertainment factor-- bringing in more mechanisms that make it more dynamic and unique. I tried a while to beat your game, couldn't do it, but I learned from playing your game because some mechanics were pretty cool, like the mapping/scrolling being so smooth and the jumping being nice too. I especially liked when we had to jump over several platforms to go up-- that design was cool.
Basilisk - I actually liked your game. Thought the graphics are simple, I think that's actually an appealing part of the aesthetic. It was entertaining at first, but you unfortunately kind of lose interest quickly. I wish there were more features, though your twist to the classic Snake game was very cool and amusing. I just wish you built off more off of that and made more different features to make your game stand out. However, I liked your direction, and I hope to see more from you in the future!
